The outlook for the foodservice industry is one of slow market growth and hyper competition as companies compete in the marketplace to gain share. To win in this environment will require a rigorous and objective assessment of new requirements to succeed, the development of a clear value proposition, and a strategy to deliver that proposition to each targeted customer. At the upcoming Distribution Solutions Conference, Bill Hale of the Hale Group will lead an executive track session on ¡°Strategic Planning and Critical Decision Making¡± that will help company leaders understand how to use the strategic planning process as a tool to define strategic direction and then to allocate resources effectively to implement the strategy.
